Introduction to Business

This project-based introductory course will provide a solid foundation in business principles and prepare you for future PCH business courses! Create and sell products, produce advertisements, deliver presentations, and much more! The experiences students gain in this course will help them to succeed in future personal and business endeavors.

Honors Accounting 3

12th
1 CTE credit (one year)

Prerequisite: Accounting 2
Dual Credit

In Honors Accounting III, Students will learn how to gather and provide data for making financial decisions. This year-long course builds on students’ previous financial accounting knowledge and covers managerial accounting concepts. Concepts in this course include budget planning, financial statement analysis, cost accounting, partnerships, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting.

Digital Media

Advanced Digital Media Lab

10th - 12th

1/2 CTE Credit (one semester)

Prerequisite required

Want to continue your learning in the digital media strand? After the completion of Branding & Design Concepts, Digital Animation, Multimedia, OR Web Design, you may take this class. Students will engage in self-directed, personalized production activities as they work individually and in teams to create digital media products of their choosing. Students will have the opportunity to develop project management, collaboration, and client interaction skills. This hands-on learning experience will allow students to take their passion for digital media to the next level. This course may be taken for multiple semesters.

Information Technology

AP Computer Science Principles

10th- 12th
1 CTE Credit (one year)
Prerequisite: ICT Recommended

This course helps students prepare for success in computing majors and careers as well as a broad range of other fields and interests. Along with the fundamentals of computing, they’ll build skills in: creative problem solving, big data analysis, and programming while studying the global impacts of computing, internet structures and important cyber security issues.

Internship is a collaborative partnership between you, the school, and an external organization. In this program, you will work for a company and research and analyze the industry. Gain valuable insight while building experience, achieving your personal goals, and establishing important connections in the field. This program can lead to increased levels of clarity when declaring a college major or pursuing work after high school.

You've loved being a customer, and as a junior or senior, you'll love being the manager! Apply the skills and knowledge you have gained in your business classes by running an actual business! Develop products, create promotions, manage social media, maintain the finances, manage the staff, and so much more! Personalized learning at its best!

Sports Marketing Internship

1/2-2 CTE Credit

Are you interested in sports marketing? Join our Sports Marketing Crew! This internship is an in-house experience for juniors and seniors who want to apply their technical skills and marketing knowledge to an athletic industry.
