You find creativity in the strangest of places- this wasn't originally going to be some lily pads on a lake, but I think it looks better this way anyway.
This one, as well as Thicket, was done entirly with a painter's knife. That's why the painting looks so sharp. I like the colors on this one, but a drawback with a painter's knife is you don't get a clean blend if the colors are completely different- like blue, purple, and yellow.
Again, done entirly with a painter's knife. I really enjoyed how this one turned out, the crisp blue gives it a cold, winter vibe.
This is a portait of my cat. I never really go for realism in my paintings like this, but it turned out well for my first time painting a cat!
This painting came by after I really tried how to learn plants. I have another painting of a fern somewhere in my room, but this is the one I liked the most.
