We know how busy and involved our members can be not only in other PCH extracurriculars, but with school work and family. To ease the stress and worry, scheduling of Young Women in STEM will rely heavily on member input, and will be determined once the YWIS club rolls out. Although subject to change, this will most likely be in the form of a Google Form with majority vote (personal scheduling issues can be worked out with the Founders/Meeting Directors/Adult Sponsor and the individual).
What days does YWIS meet?
Young Women in STEM will most likely meet once a week, though the day depends on future voting.
Our guest speakers have very busy schedules, so there may be instances of 2 meetings a week: the regular YWIS meeting, and the guest speaker.

What time does YWIS meet?
Once again, this section will be updated once the club rolls out, and the members vote on what works best for them.
Typically, our meetings will last for 30-45 min (may vary), and will be scheduled for after school during in-person school, and an option of 9:00-9:30 am or 2:30-3:00 pm during distance learning.
What do meetings look like in-school vs. during online-learning?
As mentioned above, in-school vs. online meetings will look different, though the engagement, learning, and fun activities will not change.
Meetings will be held via Zoom. Activities that are COVID-19 friendly are listed in the “Activities/Meetings” section. The time of the meeting will also be more flexible during online-learning due to the shorter school day.
