Fundraising is vital for any club that needs money for merchandise, going to events, competitions and more. Specifically for YWIS, there’s a cost for attending Women in STEM events in the area, and raising money through fundraisers and other STEM themed activities would bring this cost down for each club member. Moreover, Young Women in Stem is planning to create t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other merchandise which also cost money.
