STEM Contests

The Young Women in STEM club is also composed of various events, including those hosted by local organizations, as well as competitions based on STEM subjects. More information about both categories can be found below.

Organization Hosted Events (Colleges)

Many organizations around the St. Louis area host Women in STEM events for young women who wish to learn more about STEM careers, meet influential people in these careers, and take away something new. Typically (may vary with COVID-19) we will plan to attend a couple of these events.

STEM Competitions

Based on club member input, if fun and challenging competitions appeal to the majority, there are many STEM competitions both locally, statewide and nationally that are general, as well as specified towards young women. Choosing specific competitions will be on hold until discussed with club, though a few well known competitions are listed below:
